Bin Laden's son believed to be dead in US attack

A media report said that Saad bin Laden, Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden's third eldest son is believed to have died, when a US Predator Drone fired missiles on his hideout. US agencies were sure that they had hit Saad and he was dead. Intelligence sources said that it was not 100 per cent accurate to predict that Laden's son had been killed in the attack as there was no DNA test to confirm the incident. But sources said that US agencies were pretty sure that they had hit Saad and were very sure that he was dead.

Dawn eclipse obscured by monsoon cover

A total solar eclipse cast its shadow over parts of India and China, at daybreak today. However the experience for many was ruined by monsoon clouds that had built up overnight. The eclipse's 'path of totality' began on the coast of Gujarat at 6:30am.

Lunar Eclipse 2009

WITHIN A month, from July 7 to August 6, three eclipses, one solar and two lunar, will take place this year.

The first will be a lunar eclipse on July 7, followed by a solar eclipse on July 22 and a lunar eclipse on August 6. The eclipses have a major effect on the world and its inhabitants. In the past great disasters have occurred and it would be not be an exaggeration to say the world was on its way to destruction. According to the book, the rare phenomenon was visible in 1915.
