On July 25, 1999, Michael Jackson went to Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden in northwest London and took off his shoes before entering the temple like all other devotees. Later he visited Bhaktivedanta Manor, run by ISKCON near Watford, U K.

Pop icon Michael Jackson dies at 50

MICHAEL JACKSON, the ‘King of Pop’, died on Thursday (June 25, 2009) in Los Angeles. According to reports, the 50-year-old pop singer collapsed at his rented home in west Los Angeles. He was later rushed to UCLA Medical Centre and was pronounced dead at around 2.26pm local time. The hospital official has said that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
