Condoms is not a solution for AIDS: Pope

The comment on usage of condoms to curb AIDS by Pope Benedict XVI has back fired. The Vatican has been facing a lot of criticism since the comment was made by the Pope on his trip to Africa. The UN has also expressed discontent over the view.

Condoms make AIDS worse

Over 22 million people in sub-Saharan Africa have been suffering from AIDS. The 2008 UNAIDS/WHO report states that nine out of ten children with HIV throughout the world live in the sub-Saharan African region.
