Gurgaon traffic police gets manpower boost

OUT OF 50 that joined the force on Friday almost half are women and they will be part of the anti-drunk mobile squads formed to check the menace of drunk driving. Gurgaon, Faridabad to get city bus service soon

Giving a new hope to commuters, particularly to the intra-city travellers in Faridabad and Gurgaon, the Haryana Transport Department has proposed to run 100 buses in Gurgaon and another 150 in Faridabad.

THE PROPOSAL has also met with approval from the chief minister and it is likely that this plan would be implemented in the coming year. The transport department also plans to hire 250 drivers and the same number of conductors for running the service in Gurgaon. To serve Faridabad, the department plans to hire 350 drivers and conductors each on contractual basis. Read Full Story..

This year, Target’s sale advertisements include many deals on children’s toys. The Holiday Barbie is advertised as $34.95, Advanced Notebooks are available for $42.99, and Dr Suess’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is priced at $13.50 at the retailer.

Walmart has announced that it will be revealing Black Friday deals well before Thanksgiving to customers who sign up at Walmart.com or Facebook.com/Walmart.
