Peace deal or Talibanisation of Pakistan?

Pakistan’s decision to enforce ‘Shariya’ in the Swat valley and the neighbouring areas of the north-west in a bid to secure peace and take the steam out of a Taliban uprising raging since late 2007, has led to undesirable consequences, as feared.
