The money would be given by the International Development Association (IDA), the concessionary lending arm of the World Bank. The IDA also carries a 0.75 per cent service fee, a 10-year grace period and a maturity of 35 years..

Turmoil in Pakistan: Nawaz under house-arrest

The Pakistan government has issued orders to arrest Nawaz Sharif, the main opposition leader, to prevent him from leading the protest march by anti-government lawyers and political activists. The Pak police has also arrested several PML-N supporters.
