Soderling produced some great class in this great game of tennis and big serves in the first set where he was leading by 5-0, but Nadal did a great comeback and took the game to an eventual 3-6 for himself. Earlier it seemed that he may follow Federer as another shocker. Second set was taken by Rafael Nadal as he bounced back and almost showed Soderling that he had won here before! He took the set convincingly by 6-3.
Soderling did show some great tennis again in the third set with taking the game to a tie breaker but Nadal held his nerves and took the set by 7-6. The game was played with great acumen from both the players. The fourth set was swinging in Nadal’s way since the start itself. He broke Soderling twice and lead 5-1 before ending the game by 6-1.
