IN THE sixth match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 between Pakistan vs Kenya at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota, Sri Lanka this afternoon, Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and decided to bat first at the typical subcontinental batting track.
In the fourth match of group 'A', Pakistan is starting its ICC World cup 2011 campaign, whereas Kenya lost to New Zealand in its first encounter in the ongoing Cricket World Cup by 10 wickets just in eight overs in Chennai on Sunday. The Kenyan team scored only 69 runs in 23.5 overs. Pakistan and Kenya are meeting for the first time in any of the World Cup tournaments.
Prior to the start of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Pakistani team won one warm-up match against Bangladesh while it lost the other warm-up match against England.
Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi opted for two pacers in his playing XI including Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Gul whereas all-rounder Abdul Razzaq is also in the playing squad. Kenyan team have made one change from their last match against New Zealand. All-rounder Tanmay Mishra has been inducted in place of Alex Obanda.

Kenya: Jimmy Kamande (capt), Seren Waters, Collins Obuya, Steve Tikolo, Tanmay Mishra, Rakep Patel, Morris Ouma (wk), Thomas Odoyo, Nehemiah Odhiambo, Elijah Otieno and Shem Ngoche.
