IN THE 13th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 between West Indies and Netherlands at Delhi's historical Feroz Shah Kotla ground, the Dutch captain Peter Borren won the toss and elected to field first. Both teams from group 'B' began their ICC World Cup 2011 campaigns with defeats.
Netherlands have made no changes in the playing XI from the last match against England, whereas the Caribbean team made one change. Nikita Miler came in place of Dwayne Bravo, who was ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury.
West Indies lost their opening match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at the same venue against South Africans by seven wickets. After batting first the Caribbean team were all out for 222 runs in 47.3 overs. Darren Bravo was the top scorer for his side.
The Dutch team started their Cricket World Cup 2011 against England with style. Their batsman Ryan ten Doeschate scored 119 runs off 110 balls. In the allotted 50 overs, Netherlands scored 292 runs for the lost of six wickets. However, they lost but they fought till the end of the match.
In the last meeting in Dublin in 2007 between West Indies and Netherlands, the Caribbean team defeated Dutch team by 10 wickets.
