SPAIN COACH Vicente del Bosque analyzed his twenty three man squad list and announced the list that comprises of newcomers Victor Valdes who is Barcelona goalkeeper, Javi Martinez and forward Pedro Rodriguez who he considers the best players. These players are considered best replacement for the others who could not be there due to some reasons. They seem to bring potential to the squad and have the ability to cover.
There have been four changes from the Confederations Cup squad and eight with respect to the Eurocopa. Del Bosque also commented on the currently injured players in his national team squad, declaring that such injuries were not a cause of worry.
The Coach also included Fernando Torres and Cesc Fabregas in the squad, which features most of the players that won the European championship two years ago. Both these players are expected to recover from their injuries much before the tournament in South Africa which will be from June 11 till July 11, 2010. Spain’s first H game is against Switzerland on June 16.
