31 rebels killed: Army

31 LTTE rebels were killed as Sri Lankan forces seized a boat manufacturing unit and a ‘highly fortified’ camp of the guerillas in Maruthampuvel area of the northern region according to Sri Lankan army.

Sri Lankan army captures Kilinochchi

Sirisena referred to the capture of the Tigers' political headquarters as a historic victory for the nation. Surprisingly, the Tigers are still silent on the issue and have not made any comments yet..
