Wimbledon Championship 2010 day 7 results: Federer, Serena in quarters

WIMBLEDON DEFENDING champions, Roger Federer and Serena Williams moved in the quarterfinal in the year's biggest Grass court Tennis championship in Wimbledon. After two struggling opening matches in Wimbledon 2010, King of Grand Slams tournament, Roger Federer got his second consecutive straight set win, 6-3, 6-2, and 6-3 against Jurgen Melzer of Austria in just 84 minutes.
In the Ladies' Singles 4th round match in Wimbledon Championship 2010, Serena Williams of USA defeated sixteen seed Russian beauty Maria Sharapova in a straight set by 7-6(11-9), 6-4. World no. 1 Serena Williams took just 96 minutes. Serena served 19 aces against Sharapova.
At Wimbledon 2010 Men's Singles 4th round match, third seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia won against Lleyton Hewitt of Australia. Novak Djokovic won in four sets by 7-5, 6-4, 3-6 and 6-4. In the ongoing match between Wimbledon seed no. 4 Andy Roddick of USA with Yen-Hsun Lu in the fourth round tie, Yen-Hsun leading by 2 set to 1.
In Ladies' Singles 4th round match between Belgium girls, Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin, Kim Clijsters won by 2-6, 6-2 and 6-3. Second seed  Venus Williams defeated Jarmila Groth of Australia by 6-4, 7-6(7-5). In a surprise result in Wimbledon Championship 2010, third seed Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki lost to Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic by 6-2 6-0.
