IN THE first game of the IPL 2011, two Indian stars Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni will lead their teams from the front. It was the heroic performances of Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 that contributed to India clinching the World Cup.
In the IPL season 4, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders have a totally new team. Gautam Gambhir, who is the costliest cricketer of the IPL, Jacques Kallis, who is the leading run getter in the IPL 3, and Yusuf Pathan, who was the member of IPL 1 winner Rajasthan Royals, are the key players for their teams.
MS Dhoni, who is considered the best captain of in world cricket, will mainly depend on southpaw Suresh Raina and local star Murali Vijay in the batting department. In the bowling department, two tall spinners, Sri Lankan Suraj Randiv and local boy R. Ashwin are all set to give full support to their captain.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have never reach the semi final of DLF IPL, whereas Chennai Super Kings (CSK) reached the semi final on all the three previous ocassions times, and was a two-time finalist and winner of IPL 2010.
The first match of the IPL season 4 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will start from 8:00 PM tonight. Match will be telecast live on Set Max from 6:00 PM onwards.
