IPL 4 gets bigger and better

AFTER THE clash of Cricket World Cup between the world’s best teams in cricket, for being the champion, the DLF IPL T-20 season 4 is here with some more cricket bonanza for cricket fans.

T-20 is the most nerve-wracking and exciting format of cricket. Fans wait for it eagerly and when it comes to IPL, it becomes another extravaganza for the public. It has a very interesting format, where different players from major teams in cricket, play each other for the title. The most attractive fact in this format is the way in which the players unite with each other to play as a team.

The last three seasons of IPL T-20 have been very successful. Previous tournaments have showcased many new talents. In 2008, Rajasthan Royals created history by taking everyone with surprise and also by winning the title.

Deccan Chargers Hyderabad, for whom the 2008 IPL was a nightmare, did wonders in its second season in 2009, and comfortably clinched the title. For Chennai Super Kings, all the three seasons of IPL have been a fairytale as they have performed consistently well, and this has helped them in claiming the title in 2010. Now, IPL is back again with its season 4 in the search for its new bearer of the title.

As it is said, the things once implemented can only get better with time, so is the case with IPL. It will mark new grounds in 2011 - with two new teams. One new franchise to debut this year is the Pune Warriors India, which is supposed to be the most expensive in the IPL history. The other one is the Kochi Tuskers Kerala, bought for a price of Rs. 1,533.32 crore.

The first game kicks off on April 8, where Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders will fight it out to win over each other. It will be a clash of 51 days, final of which has been scheduled for May 28.

The teams are ready with their captains to play a knock of their lives. It is considered as a format where there is a lot of involvement of the audience. From this tournament we get to know about the hidden talent of the cricketing world.

One of the attractions of these matches are the cheerleaders dancing on Indian beats. So, time to get ready to witness great bowling, hard-hitting batting and sizzling cheerleaders - all of whom will be entertaining us for the next 51 days.
