Inaugural India vs Bangladesh tie promises to be a cracker in ICC Cricket World Cup

IN THE inaugural match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, team India will play against co-host Bangladesh at Sher-e Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Saturday, February 19. This match can be seen as the match of revenge for Team India. In ICC World Cup 2007 in the West Indies, India lost to Bangladesh by five wickets in their opening tie.
India, who are amongst the strongest contenders for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, have won both their warm-up matches. India won the first warm-up match against Australia by 38 runs and in the second match against New Zealand at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai it won by 117 runs.
In the first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 between India and Bangladesh, the Indian team will most likely comprise of seven batsmen and four bowlers including two spinners. Batting maestro, Sachin Tendulkar is playing his record sixth World Cup. Virat Kohli, who is performing consistently can be the key player for Indian team. In the bowling department, all eyes will be on Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan. Toss will also play a very important for both captains.
Indian team probables for the first match in the ICC World Cup 2011 against Bangladesh include MS Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag (vice captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Piyush Chawla, Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel.
The India and Bangladesh inaugural match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 will start from 02:00 PM IST, and will be telecast live on ESPN, Star Sports and Star Cricket channels.
