Cricket World Cup 2011 Australia vs India QF match, Live Update

IN THE second quarter final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad, the Australian captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and decided to bat first on a dry pitch on a hot sunny day.
Indian captain MS Dhoni, who became the first player to play 100 ODIs as wicketkeeper-captain, has made one change in the playing XI from the last match against West Indies. India won that match by 80 runs. Injured dashing opener Virender Sehwag came in the playing XI in place of all-rounder Yusuf Pathan.
In the second quarter final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Australian captain Ricky Ponting has also made one change in the playing XI from the last match against Pakistan. Australia lost that match by four wickets. He picked David Hussey in the playing XI for Steve Smith.

However, past record is not all that counts. The Indian batting line-up, which consists of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sahwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh gives the team an upper hand for the Indians. Zaheer Khan has already claimed 15 wickets in the on-going ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
