ICC Cricket WC 2011 match Australia vs Canada, Live Score Card

CANADA CAPTAIN Ashish Bagai won the toss against Australia in the 35th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at the dry pitch of M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore this afternoon and decided to bat first time in the tournament.

The Canada all-rounder, John Davison, has announced his retirement from the international cricket after this match.
Australia captain Ricky Ponting is playing with the same team that beat Kenya on Sunday by 60 runs in their fourth match of the Cricket World Cup 2011. It was expected that fast bowler Shaun Tait is likely to be rested for this match.
The Canadian team have made a two changes in their playing XI from the last match against New Zealand, which they lost by 97 runs. Canadian captain Ashish Bagai has brought back 16-year-old Nitish Kumar, and picked spinner Karl Watham for the first time.
Four teams from group 'A' including Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand have already qualified for the quarter finals of the tenth edition of the Cricket World Cup 2011.
Earlier, Bangaloreans witnessed, twice, a high-voltage drama during the Cricket World Cup 2011. The first match ended in  tie between India and England, and in the next Ireland won against England by three wickets. However, at the same venue Australia won against Kenya by 60 runs on last Sunday and Collins Obuya of Kenya scored 98 runs.

Canada: Hiral Patel, John Davison, Zubin Surkari, Ashish Bagai (capt & wk), Jimmy Hansra, Rizwan Cheema, Nitish Kumar, Harvir Baidwan, Karl Watham, Henry Osinde, Balaji Rao.
