Pakisan vs Canada ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Live Score Card

IN THE 16th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 between two group 'A' teams Pakistan and Canada at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi won the toss on a dry pitch and without any hesitation decided to bat first.

Pakistan team has made two changes in their playing XI from the last match against Sri Lanka. Afridi picked Saeed Ajmal and Wahab Riaz in the team, whereas rested Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar and Abdur Rehman against Canada.
Canadian captain Ashish Bagai made one change in the playing XI from the last match against Zimbabwe. He picked Henry Osinde in place of John Davison. The Canadian squad for the Cricket World Cup 2011 features three Pakistan-born players including top-order batsman Rizwan Cheema, medium fast bowler Khurram Chohan and Hamza Tariq.
Pakistan, which is one of the strong contenders for the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, has won both the opening matches against Kenya and Sri Lanka. Shahid Afridi and his team beat host Lankans by 11 runs at the same venue last weekend.
The Canadian team, whose chances to reach the quartefinals are almost zero, lost both their opening matches against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe by a huge margin. They lost against Sri Lanka by 210 runs and against Zimbabwe by 175 runs.
Pakistan and Canada have met with each other only once during the second Cricket World Cup at Leeds on June 9, 1979, where Pakistan won by 8 wickets.

Canada: Nitish Kumar, Ruvindu Gunasekera, Zubin Surkari, Ashish Bagai (capt/wk), Jimmy Hansra, Rizwan Cheema, Tyson Gordon, Khurram Chohan, Harvir Baidwan, Balaji Rao, Henry Osinde.
